Inventory Control Clerk
The Inventory Control Clerk works closely with production supervisors to ensure accurate records of all procurements. Reviews and applies inventory activities, including movements and deletion and reconciles inventory discrepancies. Reports any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
Process pick tickets for orders. Creates tags, process release, move products as needed and contact warehouse for release status, if needed.
Manages invoice orders.
Enters and collect all documentation then review and complete all production work orders.
Responsible for the uploading/monitoring of electronic reports.
Move future orders and produces tag/release as required.
Compare open orders with production forecast and contact Operation manager or sales
department as needed.
Complete outbound and receiving process for outside cold storage stoking orders.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
Perform special assignments and other related duties as requested.
Excellent communication and clerical skills
Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
Proficient keyboarding skills.
Extremely organized and attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Able to work independently and able to problem solve.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
